PEMDAS
|-15|-33÷11 division comes before subtraction so you do 33÷11 which is three and then the absolute value of -15 which is 15 and do 15-3 which is 12

In order to solve this question you must follow to rules of PEMDAS.


  • |-15| - 33 / 11

  • |-15| = 15

  • 15 - 33 / 11
  • D goes first:

  • 33 / 11 = 3

  • 15 - 3 =

Therefore you're answer is "15 - 3."
