If you mean founded, then it was not. It was declared a kingdom of great Britten on July 4. If you mean found, then that was an accident by John Cabot. He was an Italian navigator.

America the country was founded by George Washington. as he was our 1st president. BUT the LAND was "Discoverd" by Christopher Columbus. (even though Native Americans were already living there.)
