Oscar is a nutritionist who has volunteered to write some parent education materials for a local elementary school. His topic for the month is focused on tips for replacing sugary snacks with healthy alternatives. He also writes for an academic journal, read by scientists across the nation. If he wants to adapt his article about healthy snacks for use in the academic journal, how might he adapt his tone? Why?

please help!!!!!!!!!!!immediately

Oscar could adapt his journal by taking those scientific terms in his academic journal and making the information more accessible to people who may not understand those terms. The tone of academic journals can be very formal, and thus hard to understand for some readers.

Answer:

Oscar will have to add a lot to his article. To make an article valuable to a scientific journal, he will have to add a lot more to the article, such as adding a proper research, how he came to his conclusions, and obliviously using detailed scientific language that allows people of his field to understand the whole process down to a fundamental level.
