White men who didn't own land could vote in Jackson's election but not in Jefferson's election.

The Jacksonian Era was characterized by a democratic spirit and built upon Jackson's equal political policy. He intended to end the monopoly of elites in the government. But this democratic expansion was only for white men descendents of European, not black people, not women, not Native Americans.

White men who did not own land

Initially, only white men with property were the only Americans that were routinely permitted to vote as was the case in the election of Thomas Jefferson. However, white men that did not own land were able to vote in Andrew Jackson’s election
