The correct answer is the process of preparedness. This can be explained by evolutionary psychology, where we can see patterns forming over time and conditioning stimuli. Since we inherit DNA from our ancestors who reacted to this stimuli over and over, we now have a preconditioned response to something that our ancestors thought of as dangerous.
