Answer:

Option c= Coordinated Universal Time

Step-by-step explanation:

So, before going further you might want to know what time zone is. Timezones simply refers to the time at which a particular country or a particular region is,that is the local time of that region.

Well, we all know that option 'a' and option 'b' are two things that the answers can not be, or if you did not know, cheers! , now you know. And the reason is because both latitude and longitude are useful when it concerns time zones, but time zones are measured in respect to the longitudes. Which also, rules out the choice for the last option --equator. So, the only option left, and the correct option is the Coordinated Universal Time.

The correct answer is CUT is used as the global reference which has superceded the Greenwich time. We have 24 time zones and a Standard Time Zone which is in Britain. Time zones are divided vertically , not horizontally and that is why we do not take Equator into account.
