i¹ =1

i² = -1

i³=-1*i =-i

i⁴ = (-1)*(-1)= 1

99/4= 24 3/4

So, 99= 24*4 +3

i⁹⁹ = (i⁴)²⁴i³= 1²⁴i³ = i³ = -i

Answer is -i.

i¹ = i

i² = -1

i³ = i * i² = -i

i⁴ = i² * i² = 1

Since i⁴ = 1, how many 4's can we pull out. (99 ÷ 4 = 24 with a remainder of 3). Now, evaluate the remainder: i³ = -i
