How did south carolina is royal government compared to the other colonies

Like other colonies the king controled the government

In the Revolution of 1719, the Grand Council of the Carolina colony protested to the king due to the negligence of the proprietors and asked to become a royal colony, under the direct control of the king. In 1729, after a decade of negotiations with the Lord proprietors, Carolina was divided in two: north Carolina, under the control of the Lords proprietors, and South Carolina, under the control of the king.
