We have been given that cab company charges a base rate of $1.50 plus 15 cents per minute.

Thus, the fixed rate is $1.50

Now, the total duration is x minutes and company charges 15 cents = $0.15 per minute

Thus, the variable cost is given by 0.15x

Therefore, the total cost is given by

Total cost = Fixed cost + Variable cost

y=1.50+0.15x

Therefore, the slope intercept form is given by

y=1.50+0.15x
