The given line touch each other at the point (-3,-4). At this point the value of the functions f(x) and g(x) are same.

1) For function f(x) When x=-3 the function f(-3)=-4.

2)2) For function g(x) When x=-3 the function g(-3)=-4.

f(-3)=g(-3)=-4.

f(x) the blue line intersects g(x) the red line at coordinate (-3, -4)

which is when x = -3 and y = -4.

So, f(-3) = -4 and g(-3) = -4

So, f(-3) = g(-3)
