The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

slope
m=(\Delta y)/(\Delta x)

y-intercept = b.

We have: (0, -6) → b = -6

\Delta y=4\\\\\Delta x = 1\Rightarrow m=(4)/(1)=4

Substitute:

y=4x-6

OK. We have the equation of a line.

The shaded region is above the line, therefore we have the inequality:

y\geq4x-6
