In this scale drawing, 1cm of the rectangle represents 1m. First, you have to measure the base and the height of the rectangle with a ruler that includes centimeters. Once you have the dimensions, you can figure out how long and wide the actual swimming pool is. In example, if one side of the drawing is 8 centimeters long, then the side of the pool is 8 meters long.
For part b, if a scale drawing had 1 cm representing 2m, the drawing would be smaller. There would be less length on each side because more meters are represented by each centimeter.
You will need to know the dimensions of the rectangle to do part c. If the side is 8 centimeters long in the original drawing, that equals 8 meters. In the new scale drawing, each centimeters represents 2 meters, so the side would only have to be 4 centimeters long.
I hope this helps :)
