Hi there! :)

Explanation:

SLOPE=(Y_2-Y_1)/(X_2-X_1)=(RISE)/(RUN)

((-5)-9)/((-3)-(-3))=(-5-9)/(-3+3)=(-14)/(0)=0

Undefined.

Slope is 0.

Final answer is 0.

Hope this helps!

The formula of a slope:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We have:

(-3,\ 9)\to x_1=-3,\ y_1=9\\(-3,\ -5)\to x_2=-3,\ y_2=9

Substitute:

m=(-5-9)/(-3-(-3))=(-14)/(-3+3)=(-14)/(0)\ \ \ \boxed{!!!!!}

Answer: The slope is indefinite
