Density:

The density of a substance is equal to the ratio of its mass and volume. In general we can say the density of a substance is mass per unit volume.

Density = mass in g / volume in cubic cm or ml

Given that

Density = 0.940 g/ ml

Mass = 48.0 g

Therefore,

Volume = mass/ density

= 48.0 g/ 0.940 g/ ml

= 51 ml

Thus the correct answer is 51 ml
