the best way is to compare the fraction part of mixed fraction in given option

Lets first compare A and B

fraction part of option A =9/11 and that of B = 4/5

find the equivalent option of these two fraction

For A (9/11) ×(5/5) = 45/55 and for B (4/5) ×(11/11) = 44/55

so fraction part of option A that is 45/55 is greater than option B that is 44/55

hence option A is greater than option B

Now compare fraction of option A with Option C ,

equivalent fraction of A = (9/11)×(3/3) = 27/33 and equivalent fraction of C = (2/3)*(11/11)

= 22/33 , hence option A (27/33) is also greater than option C ( 22/33 )

Finally lets compare Fraction part of A and D .

Equivalent fraction of A = (9/11) ×(8/8) = 72/88 and for D = (7/8) × (11/11) = 77/88

fraction of D is greater that fraction of A .

Hence D that is 2 7/8 is greatest and is the best deal.

in above solution we have make the denominators same to compare two fraction value.
