Why might African Americans find solidarity with the Jewish community? They were both migrant groups.

They were both city dwellers.
They were both minority groups.
They were both religious peopleant groups.

The correct answer is: "They were both minority groups.".

Both Jewish people and African American citizens constitute minority groups who have suffered discrimination because of their ethnicity and race respectively, and they have seen violated their human rights for this reason too.

For example, the first were discriminated for centuries in most European countries and finally extermined by the nazis during the Holocaust and the second suffered slavery and segregation for centuries in the US.
