The Socratic method involves the teacher in asking a series of questions as well as letting the students to discuss these questions (Option "D" is the correct one). The Socratic method is a type of dialogue which provides the teacher and the students with opportunities to ask and answer questions continually as a form of creating a cooperative argument in order to stimulate critical thinking, reasoning and logic. By asking and answering questions, contradictions and ideas are exposed by the students; however, the teachers should guide the students to reach solid conclusions.
