1\3 = 4

because 1\3 is half the amount than 2\3, so of 2\3 is equal to 8.

8 ÷ 2 = 4

so then 1\3 is 4

1/3 would equal 4 because 2/3 is half of 1/3 and 8 divided by 2 would be 4
