Add the totals for the two months, then divide the total by 2 because that’s how many months you are trying to figure out the average monthly expenditure for.
$1,759.11+$5,444.70=$7,303.81
$7,303.81/2=$3,601.905
Round $3,601.905 to 3,601.91
