|3g|-4=11

Move all terms not containing

|3g| to the right side of the equation.

|3g|=11+4

Add the right side

|3g|=15

Remove the absolute value term. This creates a

±on the right side of the equation .positive version .

3g=±15

Now divide into 3 both sides

G=15/3

To get

G=5

Now do the same using the negative version

3g=± -15

G=-15/3

G= -5

Therefore g= 5, -5

in number 13 you have to do base times height times 1/2 for example the base is 6 and the height is 3 so base times height is 3 times 6 times 1/2
