√((2x + 8)) - 6 = 4

√((2x + 8)) = 4 + 6

√((2x + 8)) = 10

√((2x + 8)) ^(2) = 10 {}^(2)

2x + 8 = 100

2x = 100 - 8

2x = 92

x = 92 / 2

x = 46
So; the answer is: 46
