A line parallel to y = 0.6x + 3 will be of the form:

y = 0.6x + k

where k is a constant.

It passes through (-3,-5)

Thus,

y = 0.6x + k \\ \\ -5 = 0.6 * (-3) + k \\ \\ -5 = -1.8 + k \\ \\k = -5 + 1.8 \\ \\ k = -3.2

\textbf{The equation is \: \: y = 0.6x - 3.2}
