A pair of shoes jeremy has been watching for weeks finally went on clearance for 60% off the original ticket price of $180. When he gets to the register he finds out that all clearance items are an additional 20% off the sale price. Does that mean the shoes are 80% off the original ticket price? Explain.

$180×40%=72
72×80%=$57.60

Scenario B
$180×20%=$36

Since the values after discounts of 60%+20% is different from 80% hence no
