It’s D. It’s always the opposite. If it’s not a fraction in the original turn it into a fraction it and if it’s positive turn it negative. 3x is not a fraction nor negative so that means the line that is perpendicular to it is a fraction and negative

*for a line to be perpendicular, the product of it's slope and the given slope must be equal to -1*
so..
*now since all of the answers have the same y intercept, we can simply choose the one with the slope of -1/3*
