To find the area of a rectangular, you have to use the formula → a = base × height
Which is the same thing as your formula!
For the sake of this problem, I’ll use your formula → a = L × w

⓵ Place the information you know in the formula :

a = ?
L = 8cm
W = 6cm

→ a = 8 × 6

→ a = 48cm² → Your answer!

There you go! I really hope this helped, if there’s anything just let me know! ☻

Area = 6 * 8 = 48 m^2

There are 100*100 = 10,000 square cm in a square meter so

Area of the field = 48 * 10,000

= 480,000 cm^2 Answer
