The patient most likely has panic disorder.

This is an anxiety disorder with the unknown cause. Panic disorder is characterized by suddenly feeling of fear, sweating, shaking, shortness of breath, numbness… The person with panic disorder has panic attacks and often worries about having further attacks. There might be avoidance of places where attacks have occurred.
