You can divide 18,000 J by 9000 kg to get 2 m/s. I didn't really need an equation. But that's just the quicker way to do it. I also want to point out that J is always proportional to the mass. If not, then the answer would not be 2 m/s. I hope this really helps! Good luck!

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:-
MASS (m) = 9000kg
kinetic energy (k) = 18000j

we know :-
k = 1/2 mv²

therefore,
18000 = 1/2 × (9000) × v²

v² =
\bold{(18000 * 2)/(9000)}

v² = 36/9

v² = 4

v = 2m/s

hence, option (A) is correct,
