Three points like K , L, M said to be collinear if they lie on a single straight line .

FIRST POSSIBILTY

KL= 6cm , LM = 10 cm

thus

KM = KL + LM

= 6 + 10

= 16 cm

hence the value of the KM=16 cm.

Thus

KM = LM - KL

= 10 - 6

= 4cm

hence the value of the KM=4cm
