x² - 5x + 6 → B

the area of a triangle (A) =
(1)/(2) × base × height

A =
(1)/(2) (2x - 6)(x - 2) → ( expand using FOIL)

A =
(1)/(2) (2x² - 10x + 12) = x² - 5x + 6

2x^2 -10+ 12 (1/2)

x^2 -5x + 6
B is your answer
