A telephone pole 10 meters tall casts a shadow 8 meters long at the same time that a tree nearby cast a shadow 14 meters long. How tall is the tree?

ok so i think it is 16 meters longs because 10 - 8 = 2 which means the actual thing was bigger than its shadow so 14 +2 = 16 and to double check if it was right 16 - 14 = 2

Okay so I wrote out the steps on a piece of paper and I also broke down step 4 solving it in the corner just so you know how I got the answer... The tree is 17.5 meters tall
