In a basic equation, you must always follow PEMDAS to find the correct answer.

2. "What methods can I use to simplify this equation and make it easier to solve?"

There are many methods you can employ to make a larger, harder math problem, a smaller, more simpler equation.


3. "Are there any variables? If so, what are they equal to?"

If there are variables in an equation, you may be able to find their values. If so, you will need to do that to verify if the equation is true.
