well this is how you can find the median : To find the median, the data should be arranged in order from least to greatest. If there is an even number of items in the data set, then the median is found by taking the mean (average) of the two middlemost numbers.

If there is an odd number of numbers, this middle number is the median.

now arrange this set of odd no.s in ascending order

we get , 2,4,6,8,8,10,12

in this the middle number is 8 so 8 is the median

8 is the median. If yo line up the numbers from least to greatest you will get 2,4,6,8,8,10,12 and the middle number is 8.
