Add 5x to both sides:

7x-3>11

Add 3 to both sides:

7x > 14

Divide boh sides by 7. Since 7 is positive, you don't have to switch the inequality sign:

x > (14)/(7) \iff x > 2

So, every number greater than 2 is a solution to this inequality
