Under the sky on a starlit night, I gaze above me, to the beautiful sight, A thousand lights twinkle and call out my name, I feel so small but I'm me just the same. Watching in silence, I see a star fly, making a wish, a tear in my eye, no one around me, just the grass and the air, I take the stars and continue to stare.

what is the theme?

Correct Answer:

I sat in my seat and stared straight ahead. Fighting the urge to cry, I distracted myself by counting the stars on the wall. Each star had a name on it. As I read the names, I wondered how many of those students felt unfairly judged like me and wished for acceptance.

Which statement best revises the underlined sentence by adding vivid imagery?

All of the stars were named by students who had once sat in this very class.

There were handwritten names on the stars from previous students.

The multitude of blue stars, imprinted with gold lettering, resembled a sky of silent wishes.

Students had decorated the stars using gold lettering to write their names.
