y= x/2- 3/2 you need to move all terms that don't contain y to the right side and then solve it.

If you solve for y, it is equal to 1/2x - 3/2

In order to find this, follow the order of operations to isolate y.

6x - 12y = 18 ----> subtract 6x from both sides

-12y = -6x + 18 -----> Divide by -12

y = 1/2x -3/2
