The triangle of distances in this problem is isosceles with an obtuse angle of 150°. Hence the "base" angles are (180° -150°)/2 = 15°, and Sam's final position is

W15°N from his starting location

More conventionally, this is written as a bearing of 285° measured clockwise from north.
