An example is 2 and 3. The LCM is the product of the 2 numbers.

LCM of 2 and 3 = 6.

This is true for all pairs of numbers that have no common factor greater than 1.

The LCM is the smallest common multiple of two or more numbers. For example, the LCM of 2 and 5 is 10. The least common factor is the smallest common factor of two or more numbers. The smallest factor of every number is 1.
