y = - 4x + 1 → C

the equation of the line in ' slope-intercept form ' is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y-intercept )

from the graph c = 1

using the points ( 0 , 1 ) and (1 , - 3 )

m = (- 3 - 1 )/( 1 - 0) = (- 4 )/1 = -4

equation is y = - 4x + 1
