The slope of a line is 5/8, and the line passes through the point (−8,−4).

What is the slope-intercept form of the equation for this line?

y=5/8x + 1
y=5/8x − 9/2
y=5/8x
y=5/8x − 9

The answer would be A. y=5/8x + 1

I graphed it and that was the only one that passed through (-8, -4)

(I used Desmos, its a lifesaver when it comes to graphing)
