Read this scenario and write at least 3 sentences describing what the next step of action should be. PSYCHOLOGY/SOCIOLOGY

A 17 year old teenager has been given a laptop by a friend to keep in contact them without her parents permission. Although they didn't know, was this wrong of her? Should she have told her parents? Once her parents found out, are they allowed to access her personal account without her consent?

Answer:

Yes it is wrong to a point because she is still a child not an adult, especially if her parents do not want their child searching through the internet or just because of the issues that could occur on the internet the friend she at least make it known to the girls parents so they could know instead of them having to find out differently. Lastly yes the parents do have every right to access their 17 year old child laptop, you never know what could happen and even though its her personal business she still accepted the laptop knowing her parents could possibly not approve without their permission to take it.
