m = 5b

b = e - 2

e = 6

first, solve for the number of bears by replacing e with 6.

b = 6 - 2

b = 4

now do the same for the monkeys.

m = 5b

m = 5(4)

m = 20

check the answer if you wish. the zoo has 20 monkeys.
