What does it mean to have a ph of “7”

PH of 7 is the middle # of acidity or alkalinity of water soluble substances with 1 being the most acidic and 14 being the least

Note that the PH scale is used to specify a certain materials acidity or base. The lower the number, the more acidic, the more higher, the more basic. To have a ph of 7, it means that the material is neutral, neither acidic or basic.

An example of something with a ph of 7 is pure water.
