Hi JordanMartinez81,

√10 = 3.16227766...

√14 = 3.74165738...

√24 = 4.89897948...

√32 = 5.65685425...

Hope This Helps!

Answer: Ok, the square root is defined as:
√(x) is the number that when squared returns x, so :
\sqrt[2]{x} ^(2)  = x.

Then in this problem you want to know which root is between 4 and 5, the first thing we need to see is the squares of this numbers:

4*4 = 16, so
√(16) = 4

5*5 = 25, so
√(25) = 5

then we need to find a square root valued in a number between 16 and 25.

looking at the options you give, the only number between 16 and 25 is the 24.

so the square root between 4 and 5 is
√(24).
