Simplify the following equation:
17x-6+3x-5 = x+11+4x

17x-6+3x-5 = x+11+4x. Simplify 20x-11=5x+11 Now move all x to left side . 20x-5x=11+11 Now solve each side . 15x= 22. Now divide each side by 15. X=22÷15 your answer is x= 22/15

I got x = 22/15

What I did was looked at each size of the equal sign separately and re ordered it so that all the variables with x are together and all that do not have x are together (do this for both sides). Then i just added and subtracted. Once you simplify the equation (20x - 11 = 5x + 11), you want to get all the variables with x to the opposite side of those without. (15x = 22). then divide the number attached to x
