You first want to reduce the fraction. So you have 4x+4=10. Then, you want to move the constant to the right and change its sign, so you have 4x=10-4. Then subtract the numbers, and you now have 4x=6. Finally, divide both sides by 4 in order to isolate the variable. The answer is 3/2 or 1.5 (Written in decimal form). Hope this helped you out.
