A tissue is a group of cell that have a similar shape and function. Different types of tissue can be found in different organ in humans ,there are four basic types of tissue . there may be various sub tissues within each of primary.

Epithelial tissue: is a sheet of cells that covers a body surface or lines a body cavity. Two forms occur in the human body: Covering and lining epithelium– forms the outer layer of the skin; lines open cavities of the digestive and respiratory systems; covers the walls of organs of the closed ventral body cavity.


Connective tissue: tissue that connects, supports, binds, or separates other tissues or organs, typically having relatively few cells embedded in an amorphous matrix, often with collagen or other fibers , and including cartilaginous, fatty, and elastic tissues.


Muscle tissue: is a soft tissue that composes muscles in animal bodies, and gives rise to muscles' ability to contract. This is opposed to other components or tissues in muscle such as tendons or pericardium. It is formed during embryonic development through a process known as myogenesis.


Nervous tissue (also called neural tissue, or nerve tissue) is the main tissue component of the two parts of the nervous system; the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system (CNS), and the branching peripheral nerves of the peripheral nervous system (PNS), which regulates and controls bodily functions.


One important role that connective tissue plays throughout the body, including the heart, is scar formation. This scar tissue is formed from connective tissue and helps to provide structural integrity to affected area.


Epithelial tissue covers the outside of the body and lines organs, vessels.


Functions of epithelial cells include secretion, selective absorption, protection, trans cellular transport, and sensing. Epithelial layers contain no blood vessels, so they must receive nourishment via diffusion of substances from the underlying connective tissue, through the basement membrane.


Each type of muscle tissue in the human body has a unique structure and a specific role. Skeletal muscle moves bones and other structures. Cardiac muscle contracts the heart to pump blood. The smooth muscle tissue that forms organs like the stomach and bladder changes shape to facilitate bodily functions.
