a) 5.8x10^7 km
b) 2.5x10^-3 cm (because the number is less than 0, it is to a negative power)
c) you have to convert the measurements to the same units—so either make them both cm or km

So to convert km to cm you would do 5.8x10^7 km*(100000cm/1km)
So it would be 5.8x10^12cm for the distance of sun to mercury and then you can compare
