Consider the equation below:

(x)/(3) + 7 = 13

We have to write an equivalent equation using the multiplication property of equality.

Multiplication property of equality states that:

" This property allows to multiply the same quantity by both sides of an equation".

Now, the equation is
(x)/(3) + 7 = 13

Let us multiply both sides of the equation by any number. Let it be '2'.

2 * ((x)/(3) + 7) = 2 * 13

(2 * (x)/(3)) +(2 * 7) = 2 * 13

(2x)/(3) +14 =26 is the equivalent equation to the given equation.
