A) Its name comes form the Indus river that runs in northwestern part of Old India (now Pakistan and Northern India)

The answer would be A) India is the birthplace of Hinduism, which was the predominant faith during the Vedic period.

As the hinduism origin is mostly split into periods with the first one being Vedic Period is how A is the answer
