The area of a triangle formula

A = 1/2*b*h

The base of the triangle is 8 yd

The height of the triangle is 3 yd

So plug that into the formula

A = 1/2 * 8 * 3

So what's 1/2 of 8 * 3? To find this all you have to do is multiply and then divide by 2, so

8 * 3 = 24

24 divided by 2 = 12

so your area would be 12 yd^2
